What we are looking for

As a key member of the Customer Supply Chain Team, the Customer Supply Chain Representative (CSCR) is the single point of contact for the order-to-delivery process.  The CSCR manages the customer relationship and works with cross-functional peers to execute the customer order-to-delivery process.  Additionally, their responsibilities will include managing customer orders against forecast, troubleshooting and resolving delivery failures, executing against order programs and policy, managing customer penalty deductions through investigation and working with internal stakeholders to correct root cause, supporting production to allocate product, providing daily communication to sales team about fill rate and delivery expectations.

Role & Responsibilities

Summary of Day-in-the-Life:

  • Key contact for Buyer or Broker for orders, logistics, and inventory flow challenges for all day-to-day activities

  • Drive the new customer set-up process with the support of the Sales team, engaging all internal stakeholders to set up customers, products, freight requirements, and packaging requirements across the farm network.

  • Manages customer communication on any issues related to shipments

  • Collaborates with Transportation to establish new freight lanes/ delivery locations, to meet delivery of products on time and in full to customers

  • Proactively addresses product shortages with customers and the sales team.

  • Coordinates sample requests through the order management process.

  • Manages customer issues, complaints, and rejects.

  • Collaborates with Farm Planner, Sales, and Marketing team members to work through order to forecast variance.

  • Facilitate and participate in the weekly SHOP meeting.

  • Continually look for ways to improve processes aligned with GoodLeaf policies and procedures.

  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external customers.

  • Ad hoc reporting to support processes and process improvements.

  • Monitoring customer order trends to identify steps to maximize fill rate.

  • Monitor forecast against farm output and identify extra volume by crop, and opportunities to increase customer orders.

  • Accountability and strong management of claims related to customer accounts.

  • Share knowledge with the team and contribute to SOP development and lessons learned.

Qualifications & Educational Requirements

  • Post-secondary education, with a minimum of three years’ experience in customer-focused support roles, preferably in agriculture, horticulture, or food-based operations in Canada

  • Excellent ability to develop and maintain internal and external relationships

  • Strong problem-solving, prioritization, and organization skills with the ability to manage multiple competing tasks

  • Exceptional time management skills

  • Strong communication skills – written and verbal

  • Bilingual English & French preferred

  • Ability to work through conflict for a win/win outcome

  • Ability to forge partnerships with other areas to drive performance across business and functional lines

  • Self-motivated team player – able to be proactive and work with minimal supervision.

  • System Knowledge:  proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel in particular; experience in ITrade, PowerBI, and EDI.

What we are looking for

The Logistics and Warehouse Manager will assume a pivotal role in steering the strategic direction of the supply chain and logistics within the GoodLeaf Farms network of farms (Montreal, Calgary, and Guelph). Responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of order fulfillment operations, you will ensure the efficient and timely delivery of products to customers. 

Your expertise in fulfillment, warehouse set-up, inventory management, transportation logistics, sales support and staff training will be crucial to the success of the business. 

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develops and Manages the Cycle Count Program and Annual Inventory Count program.

  • Reviews shortages and inventory adjustments daily (tracking/monitoring positive and negative adjustments – Taking corrective action to fix continuous/similar offences)

  • Creates, reviews, deploys, and develops the Inventory Control procedures (root cause and solution execution, based on inventory recaps + cycle counts)

  • Maintains a high level of inventory accuracy, by ensuring system information is accurate with physical location.

  • Works with the Customer Service team to identify and rectify finished goods shortages.

  • Coordinate and manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping.

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations in the warehouse.

  • Implement effective space allocation strategies based on inventory turnover and storage requirements.

  • Manage and maintain relationships with third party logistics partners ensuring effective coordination and timely order fulfillment.

  • Optimize delivery routes to customer destinations, working with customer service team and 3rd party freight company.

  • Designing and leading the creation of reports that track daily shipping, receiving, freight savings and carrier on time delivery.

  • Supervise, coach and train warehouse workforce.

Qualifications & Educational Requirements

What we are looking for

The Agricultural Process Engineer will develop into GoodLeaf’s Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Fertigation Systems, responsible for supervising the design, installation, modification and support of these systems across all farms.  This encompasses, but is not limited to, water handling, water treatment and disinfection, nutrient delivery, domestic water supply, sanitation systems, and wastewater management. 

Role & Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Gain a deep understanding of the theories driving our methods of water treatment, disinfection, plant irrigation and wastewater management

  • Support ongoing operations in our farms across Canada, including leading Root Cause Analyses for all Fertigation System challenges and failures

  • Work with Horticulture R&D to resolve challenges and continuously improve our methods

  • Manage direct communications with all suppliers and service providers for Fertigation System components

  • Lead the design of new installations under the direct leadership of the Director Engineering, Construction & Network Development

Secondary Responsibilities:

Support operations at the St-Hubert farm as the resident engineering resource to:

  • Advise the Farm Manager and Head Grower in the safe and efficient operation of the farm

  • Assist the Farm Technical Manager in investigating and addressing technical matters

  • Function as a Project Manager for continuous improvement activities in that farm across all technical disciplines

Qualifications & Educational Requirements

  • B. Eng or B.Sc. in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working with process piping systems

What we are looking for

The Master Production Planner owns, develops, and executes the grow room capacity models to achieve desired capacity to demand forecasts while optimizing grow room utilization and grow conditions required for plant yield and quality. 

This role encompasses production planning and order fulfillment. This role works closely with internal stakeholders to develop and align on a grow room configuration that will best meet commercial, horticulture, operations and supply chain needs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent interpersonal communications, and a proven ability to learn quickly and think creatively.  Optimization will often require trade-offs across the internal stakeholder groups and this role will need to be the champion for what is best for GoodLeaf overall.  This is a rapidly growing industry, where the ability to be flexible, deal with ambiguity and drive for results are essential to success.  As GoodLeaf grows, the incumbent in this role would likewise be expected to take on greater leadership responsibilities.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Technical ownership of GoodLeaf grow room capacity models, SCADA and FP inventory Power BI apps.

  • Key Stakeholder of GoodLeaf SHOP process (Sales, Horticulture, Operations/Supply chain Planning)

  • Develop and deploy various grow room configurations to meet operational and commercial requirements across all GoodLeaf farms in the network (currently 3)

  • Develop and deploy capacity models for all nodes of the farming system (Seeding, Germination, Growing, Harvesting, Packaging)

  • Support all Farms’ production planners

  • Execute production planning and order fulfilment for the Saint-Hubert farm.

  • Assist in Commission-Qualify-Verify (CQV) activities for new farm facilities and systems.

  • Assist in maintaining technology and process standardization across the GoodLeaf farm network.

  • Create and maintain relationships with consultants, suppliers, developers, etc. required for the GoodLeaf production platform and new farm facilities and systems.

  • Provide subject matter expertise with respect to grow room capacity modeling

  • Increase and develop internal knowledge with respect to vertical farming technologies (automation, climate control, irrigation, harvesting, packaging), manufacturing technologies and practices, data management/analysis.

  • Actively improve technical knowledge in the controlled environment agriculture (CEA) industry.

  • Lead teams of internal and external stakeholders in reviewing existing and future designs.

  • Directly supervise technical teams as GoodLeaf grows.

Qualifications & Educational Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Systems), Mathematics, or other related degrees

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in technical roles encompassing S&OP process, planning / forecasting

  • Familiarity with the major technical systems of an indoor farm (irrigation, lighting, HVAC, nutrients & food safety) is considered an asset

  • A minimum of 4 years of leadership experience in a technical or operational role

  • Fully bilingual

  • Experience in an Engineering, Process Design, or S&OP process role within a CEA industry is an asset

  • Experience within a food manufacturing or horticultural environment is an asset

  • Specific training or experience in any of the following analytical areas would be considered an asset:

What we are looking for

The Controller will be a key member of the finance team and will be responsible for implementing and driving the organization’s financial systems, internal controls and all aspects of financial reporting both internal and external. They will be responsible for the development and implementation of new or enhanced financial processes, ensuring systems, processes and procedures incorporate strong internal controls. They will be the primary business owner of the G/L. The Controller will be responsible for the full-suite of financial and accounting practices, as well as involvement in operations. They will work closely with senior management and the head of Financial Planning & Analysis to drive business performance by providing in-depth financial support and analysis.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Supporting all aspects of accounting management, including financial reporting and administration, month-end reconciliations, year-end audits and tax preparation

  • Monthly financial reporting, including the preparation of financial statements

  • Issuing Purchase Orders and tracking construction budgets for new builds

  • Improving the accounting process, implementing new systems and process enhancements

  • Ensure that data integrity, internal controls and audit trails are maintained throughout all systems and processes

  • Introducing and implementing financial controls and policies to comply with legislation and established best practices

  • Assisting with the implementation and maintenance of the organization’s ERP system, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and system controls from an accounting perspective, and being the primary business owner of the G/L and accounting modules of the ERP.

Reporting to the VP Commercial, the Account Manager, Independent Accounts plays a key role in driving profitable growth on shelf, with independents and specialty channels across Canada.  This will include creating and executing strategies and tactic to support the company’s strategic plan, overseeing a team of retail merchandising brokers, a sales specialist and having direct responsibility for Wholesale accounts.   

The position will be based in St-Hubert, QC or Guelph, ON – Hybrid (Bilingual French / English Mandatory)

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage and coach retail merchandising brokers to achieve targets evaluating performance, developing strong accountability and a culture of “GoodLeaf First” amongst broker employees

  • Working with customer marketing manager and account managers inform retail merchandising brokers on strategies creating specific tactics to achieve success

  • Develop and strengthen relationships with the franchisee networks of retailers across the Country ensuring GoodLeaf is the preferred local offering in their stores

  • Build and personally manage a strategic network of wholesale partners across the country that support targeted independent and specialty channels throughout the country 

  • Oversee a junior sales specialist who will focus on capturing regional / natural sales accounts either independently or directed by new wholesale partnerships 

  • Provide market intelligence to senior management / account managers on a regular basis as a result of collaborative relationships

  • Annual business planning, channel forecasting, weekly sales updates and Monthly business reviews

  • 3+ years merchandising management – Grocery CPG

  • 2+ years sales experience selling into wholesaler and / or specialty retailers 

  • Experience includes leadership strategic thinking, communication, teamwork,

  • Understanding of the retailer landscape in Canada

  • Proven success in directly managing brokers or merchandising personnel

  • Proven success in developing, presenting, and implementing business plans

  • Experience leading, and managing a team

  • Ability to build effective relationships both internally and externally

  • Strong interpersonal, writing, and presentation skills

  • Highly enthusiastic and hands-on business approach

  • Exceptional negotiation skills

Ce que nous recherchons

Nous sommes à la recherche d’un chef d’équipe de production pour superviser et coordonner les opérations quotidiennes de notre usine de production alimentaire sur la rive sud de Montréal. Vous travaillerez en étroite collaboration avec notre équipe de production pour vous assurer que tous les processus de production se déroulent de manière fluide et efficace, et que nos produits répondent à nos normes de qualité élevées.

Rôle & Responsabilités

  • Superviser et coordonner les opérations quotidiennes de l’installation de production

  • S’assurer que les processus de production fonctionnent de manière fluide et efficace

  • Travailler en étroite collaboration avec l’équipe de production et de maintenance pour identifier les domaines à améliorer et mettre en œuvre des améliorations de processus

  • S’assurer que tous les produits répondent à nos normes de qualité élevées

  • Surveiller et maintenir les niveaux d’inventaire des matières premières et des produits finis

  • Fournir un coaching et une formation en leadership aux membres de l’équipe sur toutes les tâches agricoles quotidiennes.

  • Créer et maintenir des calendriers de production pour s’assurer que toutes les commandes sont exécutées à temps

  • S’assurer que toutes les règles de sécurité et d’hygiène sont respectées

Qualifications & Exigences en matière d’Éducation

  • Un diplôme d’études secondaires ou l’équivalent est requis. L’obtention d’un diplôme d’études postsecondaires est un atout.

  • Démontrer une compréhension des indicateurs de performance clés, des BPF, de la santé et de la sécurité, de la salubrité des aliments, de la qualité, de l’HACCP, du taux de gaspillage et des taux d’exécution

  • Désireux d’apprendre, de diriger et de soutenir la mise en œuvre de la fabrication allégée et des meilleures pratiques sur le terrain (réunions 5S, DDS et DMS, Kaizen, OEE, etc.)

  • 1 à 3 ans d’expérience en leadership. La préférence est accordée à l’expérience de leadership professionnel dans une usine de fabrication d’aliments.

  • Utilisation sécuritaire et autorisée de véhicules industriels motorisés (un atout). Si ce n’est pas le cas, prêt à être formé.

  • Une expérience préalable dans un environnement de transformation ou de fabrication des aliments est exigée.

  • Haut degré de compétences organisationnelles

  • Communication et résolution de problèmes solides

  • Capacité à travailler dans des environnements au rythme rapide, à effectuer plusieurs tâches à la fois, à établir des priorités et à travailler sous pression.

  • Pensée critique et capacités d’analyse

  • Forte capacité à rester organisé
