CONTEST TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The GoodLeaf Backyard BBQ contest is sponsored and administrated by GoodLeaf Community Farms Limited., 35 Cooper Dr, Guelph, ON N1C 0A4. All inquiries should be directed to GoodLeaf. The contest begins 9:00am EST on July 5, 2021 and ends at 11:59pm EST on August 2, 2021. To enter the contest and be eligible to win an individual must residing in the province of Ontario. There is no purchase necessary.
To enter, an individual must tag two friends in the contest post comments and follow GoodLeaf on Instagram or Facebook. For an extra two entries, contestants can share the contest video to their Instagram story. Entrants will be automatically entered in the draw to win a prize awarded and mailed by Saturday, August 14, 2021.
Individuals may not enter the contest more than once. Entrants will be selected by GoodLeaf from a random drawing of all eligible entries received during the month. The winners will be notified by the Thursday of the closing week and will have 24 hours to provide a mailing address. Upon satisfying the eligibility requirements during the prescribed time periods, the selected entrants will be mailed the prize. In the event a selected entrant is found to be ineligible, if he/she cannot or does not comply with these Terms & Conditions, or he/she does not correctly answer a skill testing question (to the extent required by law) the selected entrant may be disqualified, and an alternate winner may be selected. The alternate winner will be the next randomly chosen entrant.
To the extent applicable, if the selected entrant fails to respond within the prescribed time, such will result in disqualification. GoodLeaf is not responsible for communication problems of any kind and is under no obligation to select an alternate winner. There is one prize available to be won which will be a GoodLeaf prize pack that includes: GoodLeaf baby greens and/or microgreen products, a live edge cutting board from OSO Home in Fort Eerie, BBQ sauces and rub from Buster’s BBQ in Vermilion Bay, a grilling apron and BBQ spices from the Pepper Tree Spice Co. in Port Stanley, valued at more than $400 CAD. The prize must be accepted as awarded without substitution and is non-transferable. The prize has no cash-surrender value. GoodLeaf reserves the right, in its sole discretion, in the event that the prize or any component of any prize cannot be awarded as described for any reason, to substitute and/or modify the prize or component of prize with (a) prize(s) of equal or greater value, without liability. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entrants during the contest period. All entries are subject to verification. All entries that are incomplete, illegible, damaged, irregular, have been submitted through illicit means, or do not conform to or satisfy any condition of the Terms & Conditions may be disqualified by GoodLeaf.
This contest is subject to federal, provincial/territorial and municipal laws and regulations. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these terms, or the rights and obligations of entrants and the sponsor in connection with the contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the Province of Ontario, as applicable, without giving effect to its conflict of law rules and provisions.
These terms are subject to change without notice in order to comply with any applicable federal, provincial/territorial and municipal laws or the policy of any other entity having jurisdiction over GoodLeaf. By participating in this contest, each entrant consents to the use of his/her name, address (city and province), likeness, biographical information, photograph, video recording, voice, statements and entry information, without further remuneration, in connection with any publicity carried out by or on behalf of GoodLeaf, for advertising and/or publicity purposes in any and all media (now or hereafter known) throughout the world, in perpetuity without compensation, notification, or permission, unless otherwise prohibited by law.
